Thomas Heurtel and Barcelona have reached an agreement for the renewal of the player’s contract until 2021, with an option for 2022, the club announced.
Heurtel is signing 11 million (gross) contract according to sources.
Barcelona acquired Heurtel during the 2017 offseason. In his two seasons with the Blaugrana, the French point guard has led the club to back-to-back Spanish Copa Del Rey titles while earning MVP in the process.
In 2019, Heurtel averaged 10.4 points, 4.8 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 21:07 minutes over 34 games in EuroLeague. He helped Barcelona return to the playoffs after a two-year absence.
