Dairis Bertans and Khimki Moscow Region have signed a two-year deal, the club announced Monday.
Bertans, 29, started the 2018-19 campaign in Italy with Olimpia Milano before moving to the NBA with the New Orleans Pelicans in March. He played 12 games for New Orleans averaging 2.8 points on 14 minutes of play and was waived on Sunday.
After his short trip overseas, Bertans is back in EuroLeague, ready to join his third team in the competition (following Darussafaka in the 2016-17 season and Olimpia Milano between 2017 and 2019).
