According to Eurohoops sources, Sergio Rodriguez is parting ways with CSKA Moscow and is officially a free agent. Several clubs are ready to make a big push in order to bring him over.
The final date for the contract renewal was July 12 but the sides agreed to part ways three days before the deadline and the player is exploring other options.
The 33-year-old Spaniard guard helped CSKA win the Turkish Airlines Euroleague this past season averaging 10.2 points on 39% three-point shooting while adding 4.5 assists per game.
