Alba Berlin signed guard Peyton Siva to a two-year contract extension, the club announced. By signing this deal, Siva will be playing five years with the German club by 2021.
In 2018-2019, Siva averaged 15.2 points, 7.9 assists and 2.4 rebounds in EuroCup to push Alba towards reaching the competition’s Finals. In the German League, the 28-year-old player had 11.9 points, 6.2 assists and 1.6 rebounds as the “Albatrosses’ made the Finals series to punch a ticket to the 2019-2020 EuroLeague.
Alba is returning to EuroLeague next season and thus Siva will also make his debut in the top-tier continental competition. “EuroLeague is the best thing in basketball after the NBA. I have incredibly great anticipation for the new season and I can’t want to play in front of the great Alba fans again soon.”
