Zenit St. Petersburg is signing American guard Austin Hollins to a two-year deal according to Eurohoops sources. The player will thus make his EuroLeague debut in 2019-2020.

Hollins, 27, comes off a breakout season in Germany with Rasta Vechta. He averaged 16.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 1.8 assists in the BBL regular season plus 17.9 points, 2.3 steals, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in the playoffs to push his team to the league semifinals for the first time in the history of the club.

Prior to Vechta, Hollins played in Germany with the Giessen 49ers, plus Finland and France. He’s the son of former NBA champion and current coach Lionel Hollins.
