Vangelis Mantzaris has been informed by Olympiacos that coach David Blatt isn’t counting on him for the next season and can look for another team to continue his career with.
Mantzaris has another year left in his contract with Olympiacos and the player has to be compensated in order for the sides to officially part ways. The negotiations are in progress but no deal has been reached yet.
The 29-year-old has worn the Olympiacos jersey for the past eight years during which the club won two Turkish Airlines EuroLeague trophies as well three Greek League titles.
