Shelvin Mack, a veteran of 486 NBA games, might be up for a European challenge with AX Armani Exchange Milan. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the 29-year-old American guard is on Ettore Messina’s list of players to replace Mike James on his roster.
James, 28, future with the Italian side is under consideration. However, newly-appointed head coach and president of basketball operations, Messina, is already looking out for a potential replacement ahead of the 2019-20 season.
Mack, a Butler alumni, played for both the Memphis Grizzlies and the Charlotte Hornets during the 2018-19 NBA season. His previous stints in the league include the Washington Wizards, Philadelphia 76ers, Atlanta Hawks, Utah Jazz and Orlando Magic.
Throughout his career, the 34th pick of the 2011 NBA draft averaged 6.6 points, 3.1 assists and 2 rebounds per Regular Season contest, 5.3 points, 2 assists and 1.9 rebounds per Playoffs match. However, Mack has never before pursued any opportunities outside the NBA.
