Greek national team guard and former Olympiacos player Giannis Athinaiou is expected to join Panathinaikos for next season.
As SDNA.gr reported first and Eurohoops sources confirm, Athinaiou is near a deal with the Greens who need a boost in their backcourt.
Panathinaikos has decided to loan Giorgos Kalaitzakis to Nevezis and Athinaiou will give to the team a much more experienced option.
The 31 years old guard has also played for Milano, Aris, and PAOK among others. He is considered one of the best Greek shooters.
