Anthony Gill landed in Russia for his third campaign with Khimki Moscow Region. He was interviewed upon returning to Russia and admitted that his first priority after his nine-hour flight is to head to the gym and get ready for the 2019-20 season as soon as possible. He missed a large chunk of the 2018-19 season due to injury.

“I am so glad to be in Khimki again and see all my friends” the 26-year-old American forward noted before discussing how much American cereal he fit in his luggage, his favorite TV series, the weather in Russia, Virginia’s NCAA championship and Team USA.

Janis Timma, Dairis Bertans and Devin Booker are expected to extend the arrivals for Khimki on Monday. All players will go through medical tests at Moscow before traveling to Slovenia on August 14th to kick off the training camp ahead of the 2019-20 season.

The Russian side is set for its 7th EuroLeague season, third in a row since the 2017-18 campaign. Rimas Kurtinaitis’s team will compete in the VTB United League as well.
