Vassilis Charalampopoulos inks four-year contract with Olympiacos.

Olympiacos penned Vassilis Charalampopoulos to a four-year contract, the Greek club announced on Wednesday. The press release on the 22-year-old Greek forward confirms recent reports on the two sides nearing a deal.

Charalampopoulos took part in 26 EuroLeague matches, all with Panathinaikos from 2013 to 2017. He went on to play for PAOK on loan for the 2017-18 season and furthered his career with Lavrio last year. The 2019-20 season will bring him to Ionikos Nikaias Affidea on a loan assignment from the Reds.

With the Greens, he captured three Basket League titles and five Greek Cups. Also, he represented Greece through all junior national teams leading his country to gold in the 2015 U18 European Championship and the 2017 U20 European Championship.

As for his 2018-19 outing, Charalampopoulos notched 7.4 points and 3.1 rebounds per Basket League contest with Lavrio.
