Quincy Acy, one of Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv’s additions for the upcoming season, has landed and received a warm welcome from the club’s fans.

The 28-year-old knows a different basketball awaits him in his first stint in Europe but Acy trusts in his experience: “It’s going to be different, it’s going to be an adjustment for sure but I’ve been playing basketball for a long time. We’ll see.”

Acy also shared that he has been in touch with former Sacramento Kings teammate in Omri Casspi and that he and his wife feel already like home in Tel Aviv: “Me and Omri have kept up over the years and we’re really close and his wife and my wife are really close. They’ve reached out already. Tarik Black’s wife has reached out as well, they’re just making us feel at home.”

Tuesday is the day of arrivals in Tel Aviv. Not only Acy but also Jack Cohen, Tyler Dorsey, Othello Hunter, Angelo Caloiaro and Tarik Black have arrived in the city and fans of Maccabi welcomed them in the airport.
