Zalgiris Kaunas has been really active on the transfer market this offseason, acquiring Zach LeDay, Lukas Lekavicius, Alex Perez, Nigel Hayes, and Jock Landale thus far. At the same time, Brandon Davies, Nate Wolters, Leo Westermann departed, while Antanas Kavaliauskas retired from professional basketball.
Head coach Sarunas Jasikevicus talked about the changes in the roster, an unexpected turn of events as he commented, per Donatas Urbonas.
“We didn’t expect to have so many changes, but we understand our situation. At least we managed to get players we wanted. The only question is how they gonna fit the system. It’s not easy with so many new guys, but time will tell,” mentioned Jasikevicius.
