Efes will stay in Italy for a couple of more matches.

Anadolu Efes defeated Varese in its second preparation game ahead of the 2019-2020 season.

Shane Larkin and Rodrigue Beaubois scored 16 points apiece for Efes while Yigitcan Saybir added 13 points. The Turkish team had been defeated by AS Monaco on Sunday.

Efes is without guard Vasilije, Sertac Sanli, Dogus Balbay and Bugrahan Tuncer due to the FIBA World Cup. Forward Adrien Moerman is also out with injury.

On Friday, August 30, Efes will travel to Sardinia to participate in the Air Italy Olbia Tournament. The team will also play in the Lucca Tournament before returning to Turkey on September 8.
