Kyle Kuric put on a strong performance and in the end handed Barcelona an 87-85 preseason win over Joventut in the ‘Lliga Catalana’.
Kuric spent 33 minutes on the floor and led the way with 18 points on 7-9 shooting (2-3 triples). Nikola Mirotic added 16 and Rolands Smits ten points.
For Joventut, Klemen Prepelic scored 19 points followed by Luke Harangody’s 13.
It was a balanced game from start to finish as neither team could gain a significant advantage. The first quarter finished with a tie at 21 while Barcelona had a 50-46 lead at halftime.
Although Joventut had an upper hand after the break and a 72-64 lead, Barcelona bounced back and came out on top in the final seconds thanks to Kyle Kuric’s game-winning two-pointer with a bit over three seconds left.
