Anadolu Efes grabbed a 100-98 overtime win against Zalgiris Kaunas at the opening of the Gloria Cup.
Shane Larkin banked 24 points for the victors – including the two for overtime – while Rodrigue Beaubois and Alec Peters added 19 each. For Zalgiris, Nigel Hayes nailed game-high 27 points in addition to Zach LeDay’s 23 and Alex Perez’s 17 points.
Kirolbet Baskonia kept Obras Basket under control and logged a 71-59 win at the ‘Torneo Liberbank Ciudad de Oviedo’.
Matt Janning led the way with 17 points in addition to Shavon Shields 13 and Tornike Shengelia’s 11 points. For Obras, Raven Barber scored 17 and Fernando Zurbrigge ten points.
Brandon Davies banked a layup with a second left giving Barcelona a 93-92 win over MoraBanc Andorra in the ‘Lliga Catalana’ Final.
Nikola Mirotic – who was named MVP – led the victors with 25 points and ten boards followed by Davies’ 16 and Kyle Kuric’s 14 points. For Andorra, Moussa Diagne scored 14 points.
