Thursday evening was full of action for EuroLeague teams that took the floor all across Europe.
Alba Berlin prevailed over ASVEL Villeurbanne with an 86-84 victory in their meeting in Clermont-Ferrand, France. Marcus Eriksson paced Aito Garcia Reneses’ squad with 19 points, two rebounds, while Edwin Jackson posted a game-high of 22 points for ASVEL.
At the same time, Zalgiris Kaunas sealed a tight 71-70 victory against Galatasaray at the Gloria Cup. Zach LeDay was the leading scorer for the Lithuanians with 23 points, as Thomas Walkup finished with 12 points.
In the ProStars Tournament in Angers, France, MaccabiTel Aviv faced little struggle against Cholet and escaped with an 89-77 win.
Earlier in the day, CSKA Moscow defeated Tofas in overtime.
