Crvena Zvezda had a slight upper hand most of the game against Olympiacos and held on for a narrow 82-77 preseason win in Greece.

Derrick Brown led the winning side with 14 points followed by Stratos Perperoglou with 13 and Billy Baron with 12 points. Branko Lazic, Mouhammad Faye and Ognjen Kuzmic didn’t travel to Greece with the squad.

For Olympiacos, Kevin Punter banked 17 points in addition to Georgios Printezis’ 16 and Brandon Paul’s 14 points. Wade Baldwin and Nikola Milutinov weren’t on the roster for this game.

Zvezda was ahead 22-16 after ten minutes and stayed in front at halftime (41-36). It was a balanced game but Olympiacos didn’t have enough to turn the tables as the Serbian team kept a 62-56 lead after the third quarter and sealed the deal in the fourth.
