Vasilis Spanoulis, coach Giannis Sfairopoulos, every player of Olympiacos and even the owners Aggelopoulos brothers are ready for more after getting the big win over CSKA.
As Sfairopoulos said: “We have beaten a great rival. We are more than happy. We didn’t give up, because we have the right mentality. Now we have to focus on Sunday’s final”. For his captain, he added: “Spanoulis is our leader and you just can’t find anymore player like him. The defense of CSKA was focused on him. I tried to relax him and he found the way to get back to the game. Still our team is not just Spanoulis. It’s a team game”.
Spanoulis himself added: “We just want to win. There’s also defeat in sports and in Greece we also have to learn how to lose. We put our soul on the court and our passion is what made us win the game”.
Ioannis Papapatrou who is considered the future leader of the team said: “We have seen history repeated. Vasilis has done this many times.
