Anton Pushkov will miss up to three weeks of action, Zenit Saint-Petersburg announced on Wednesday. The 30-year-old Russian center picked up a right hand injury during Tuesday’s away victory versus Stelmet Enea BC Zielona Gora in VTB United League action.

He was previously set for his first EuroLeague appearance following four 7DAYS EuroCup campaigns between Khimki and his current club. The initial timetable can be altered depending on his reaction to treatment, but his debut will be postponed.

On Friday, Joan Plaza’s Zenit will collide with ALBA Berlin at the Mercedes-Benz Arena for the opening week of Europe’s premier competition.
