Mike James reached an agreement with AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan to terminate his contract in late July. He since joined CSKA Moscow to further his EuroLeague career, but shared a short comment with Sports.ru on his previous team’s new head coach Ettore Messina and his decision to not include him in his 2019-20 plans.
“I don’t want to talk about that” he initially responded to the question on him leaving Milan, but added, “I can only say that I would never act like that in relation to another. That’s all.”
“I don’t need to convince anyone. I’m a scorer. In all my teams I found ways to score whatever my role” he pointed out commenting on his ability to pour points.
“The rumors of my gigantic ego are exaggerated” he said in another part of his lengthy interview.
