The new Valencia Arena (designed by LICAMPA 1617) budget has been expanded from 192 to 220 million euros with the goal to increase its capacity.
The works are expected to start, if all procedures are carried out as planned, in the summer of 2020, with a view to being ready in 2023, as reported by europapress.es.
With this investment expansion, the latest updates on the project mention that the Arena can accommodate a maximum of 15,600 spectators in basketball games and 18,600 for concerts. The building will also work as Valencia‘s headquarters, with team offices, press rooms, and a team store included in the construction.
