Real Madrid is finalizing the signing of Salah Mejri, as reported by El Espanol’s Jorge Calabres.

The 33-year-old Tunisian center signed a temporary contract with the Liaoning of the Chinese league this September to replace the injured Brandon Bass. However, he has been expecting an offer from the NBA or from Europe, according to the report.

Mejri, who is now in Dallas, is waiting for the negotiations to come to fruition in order to travel to Madrid. Mejri exited the Mavericks last June and comes off from China’s World Cup where he played with the Tunisian selection.

Mejri spent two seasons with Real before, between 2013 and 2015, and was crowned EuroLeague and Spanish League champion in 2015.
