Andres Nocioni was the rightful MVP of Madrid’s Final Four. However, being a team player in whole his career, he talked about the unit.
“I did what I know to do well. This is my game. We proved that we are a unit with team spirit, even if they were telling us that we are not in the start of the season. I was not the only standout. Everyone who stepped on the court, did what he had to. I am really happy. As long as my body stands it, I will continue to play”.
K.C. Rivers added: “Congratulations to Andres for being the MVP. He deserved it. Everyone had to do their best. On Friday I made the shots, today the team needed my defense. I did that. Olympiacos started well, but we changed the tempo, we got the lead and we kept it until the end against a very strong team”.
