Former Maccabi Tel Aviv great Devin Smith has been announced as one of the nominees for the 2010-2020 All-Decade EuroLeague Team, as euroleague.net informs.
Smith helped Maccabi win its one EuroLeague title of this decade in the 2013-14 season, which was memorable in many ways. His great performances in key games were critical, especially in the championship game against Real Madrid, when he had 15 points and 7 rebounds. Smith set this century’s championship game record by playing 40 minutes and 40 seconds that night in his team’s dramatic overtime win.
