ASVEL Villeurbanne takes over CSKA Moscow on Friday (20:45 CET) but will lack Antoine Diot from its roster, as the team informed on Thursday.
Diot suffered a thigh injury and will have to sit out Friday’s game, though the good news for the French team is the probable return of Theo Maledon to action.
Maledon has been out since early October, recovering from a shoulder injury.
