Rochestie leads Olympiacos to friendly win, Spanoulis exits with stitches

Olympiacos defeated Ionikos in their exhibition game and saw Spanoulis going out with an injury on his brow.

Taylor Rochestie paced Olympiacos to a 93-63 victory against Ionikos on Monday with an 18-point performance. Kostas Papanikolaou added 13 points upon his return, and Sasha Vezenkov had 11 points.

Adding to the list of the team’s injuries (Willie Reed out with ACL pain, Giorgos Printezis rested due to tendonitis), Kestutis Kemzura saw Vassilis Spanoulis leaving the court in the third period to get three stitches on his right brow.

Notably, this exhibition game marked Sofoklis Schortsanitis’ return to action after nearly two years. He finished the game with 4 points.
