Real Madrid swingman Jeff Taylor’s participation in the Round 11 EuroLeague away game against Zenit St. Petersburg Friday (29/11) will be a gametime decision, the team’s head coach Pablo Laso said.

“Taylor trained with discomfort and with a mask. We will take him but we will decide [on his participation] at the last minute,” Laso said, per Real Madrid.

While Taylor might play in the match, Real will definitely be without star guard Sergio Llull plus captain Felipe Reyes and the newest addition, returnee Salah Mejri.

“Reyes and Mejri are out. Felipe is taking part in the practices but not full participation. Llull is out, we’ll see [about him] next week,” Laso mentioned.

Real will face Zenit and also forward/center Gustavo Ayon. The Mexican big man spent the previous five seasons with the “Blancos” and was a factor in the team winning the EuroLeague titles of 2015 and 2018, plus numerous domestic trophies.

“He’s a player who had been with us for a long time and we know well,” Laso said. I wish him the best of luck but to not play a good game against us,” Laso mentioned on Ayon.
