Big injury concerns for Zalgiris Kaunas as Marius Grigonis might be sidelined for two months, according to Lithuanian outlet 15min.

The 25-year-old swingman has been facing a foot injury in recent weeks that prevented him from competing in the LKL and from participating in training sessions. Surgery remains an option that will likely extend the timetable for his recovery if deemed necessary.

Grigonis was a regular in Sarunas Jasikevicius’ rotation up to EuroLeague Regular Season Round 10. He averaged 11.5 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2 assists per contest.

Zalgiris is currently on a five-game losing streak in Europe’s premier club competition with its overall W-L record faltering to 3-8. Domestically, the Lithuanian team remains undefeated after 11 games.
