Making his way from the NBA to EuroLeague and vice versa several times through his career, Sergio Rodriguez can certainly rank the leagues. Apart the differences between Europe’s premier club competition and the NBA, he commented on many more topics talking to Eurohoops.

“There are great teams, there are great players,” points out El Chacho referring to Europe’s top club competition, “That’s EuroLeague, the best competition you can find outside the NBA.”

After two seasons with CSKA Moscow and his second EuroLeague crown moved to AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan last summer. “I went there to live a new experience on a great club in Europe, and win the EuroLeague” he noted on leaving the Russian club.

The 33-year-old Spaniard point guard’s interview includes the EuroLeague teams that are one step ahead in terms of experience, Spain winning the 2019 FIBA World Cup and more.
