American guard Kevin Punter won’t continue with Olympiacos and is expected to sign with Crvena Zvezda according to a report by Greek newspaper Live Sport.
Punter has been averaging 6.8 points (33.7% from the field) and 1.9 rebounds in 18:22 minutes over 11 games of his debut EuroLeague season. He has been out of the 12-man squad in four out of the last eight matches.
If Punter joins Crvena Zvezda, he will be reunited with coach Dragan Sakota. The latter coached Punter in 2017-2018 with AEK Athens, in the team’s run towards winning the Basketball Champions League and the Greek Cup.
