ASVEL Villeurbanne announced that guard Edwin Jackson will stay out of action for two more weeks due to knee soreness that is still troubling him following the injury he had suffered in the EuroLeague opener vs. Olympiacos.

Jackson missed the EuroLeague match against Khimki Moscow and the French League game vs. Gravelines-Dunkerque plus the LNB All-Star game. Now, the French player will remain sidelined at least until ASVEL’s travel to Istanbul for the games against Fenerbahce Beko (January 14) and Anadolu Efes (January 17).

In 14 games this EuroLeague season, Jackson has been averaging 6.6 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 21:39 minutes.
