The situation surrounding Willie Reed and Nikola Milutinov’s questionable status opens up Augustine Rubit. He is the only available and healthy option for Olympiacos in the center position and costs only 0.80 credit units. We added him to our team without a second thought.

Among other similar options is Konstantinos Mitoglou. Valued just 0.89, but produced 34 PIR last week for Panathinaikos OPAP. Rick Pitino trusts him. He seems up for another big outing following his impressive performance on the road versus CSKA Moscow.

Valencia forward, Alberto Abalde went between 19 and 22 PIR and three out of his last four games. The fourth saw him at -6, but we won’t single out that negative performance. The crucial point is that he has been earning playing time. He is priced at 1.38 and brings home points. Worth a pick provided you have room in your squad.

We added Greg Monroe at a low cost. His value has since went up and dropped again. On the court, he recovered from a tough stretch with 28 PIR last week. At 1.62, we believe he deserves a second chance.

Our fantasy team for Round 18:

Apart Rubit and Monroe, we retained Nando De Colo, Nick Calathes and Nikola Mirotic expecting them to lead us to more fantasy points. We gathered 180 last week, would have an even greater income with De Colo or Calathes in the captain’s slot instead of Mirotic.

We must remind the importance of properly selecting the captain for each round. His points count for double. This week we will rely on De Colo anticipating him to extend his hot form into Round 18.
