LeBron James tried all alone once again to win. However, as it was the case in most of the Finals series, Golden State Warriors and Steph Curry couldn’t be stopped. The Warriors got the 105-97 win and the NBA championship title with 4-2 wins in total.

With 25 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and great defense against LeBron, Andre Iguodala was named the finals MVP, the first player to get the award and not even start not even once this season for his team. Draymond Green had a triple double (16 p., 11 r., 10 as.) for the winners, proving once again that the supporting cast of the Warriors was better than the Cavs, minus their injured stars Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. Steph Curry had 25 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and Serbian center Ognjen Kuzmic, despite not playing in the finals, is also an NBA champ.

LeBron James became the first player in NBA history who led the Finals in points, rebounds and assists. It was not enough for him in order to win a championship title with Cleveland. He finished Game 6 with 32 points, 18 rebounds and 9 assists. Russian center Timofey Mozgov added 17 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks.

Steve Kerr became the first rookie coach since Pat Riley who won the championship title against last season’s Euroleague winner David Blatt.
