Sergio Llull decided to stay in Real Madrid by signing a new contract until 2021 and he explained his decision in a press conference.
As he said: “It’s a very happy day for me to renew with the club I love. I thank the club for the effort it has made. In a place where you are treated so well is an honor and privilege to defend this shirt. I hope to continue to make history helping my teammate to win more titles. For me, playing for Real Madrid was a dream since childhood, I got signed in 2007 for the first time and it’s still the same. It was a difficult decision, the NBA is very tempting, but I’m very happy here and I want to win many titles with Real Madrid. I want to extend my dream. ”
For the Houston Rockets who tried very hard to get him this summer he explained: “I thank the Rockets for the interest they have shown in me.
