Charles Jenkins left Crvena Zvezda for EA7 Milano as it was just announced by the Italian club, however Belgrade and the Serbian team will be always in his heart as he explains in a moving letter he wrote for the fans of Zvezda.

“I can’t put into words how thankful I am for having the opportunity to be a part of KK Crvena Zvezda. I will never forget the experiences I have from the past two seasons.

First and foremost I would like thank management, my teammates and coaches. I thank you for all the lessons I was taught daily, both on and off the court. I want to personally thank Dejan Radonjic for trusting me to make decisions in extremely important moments during very important matches; You helped me grow both as a basketball player and as a person, for which I cannot thank you enough.

The ability to play in Serbia came with the opportunity of playing against other great players in the Srpska Liga, whether during the Derbies against Partizan or the many close matches with Mega Leks. It was a true pleasure to be a part of Serbian basketball.

Finally Thank you to every fan that supported and believed in me, regardless of whether I played great or not. The passion and intensity you bring to every match, no matter what time in the game, is something I will never forget. I consider delije to be my family and it was a pleasure to play in front of you every time.

Belgrade will always be home .

Sincerely

Charles Jenkins”
