According to Eurohoops sources from Serbia, Nikola Milutinov (20 years old, 2.11 m.) is ready to sign a deal with Olympiacos for the next three seasons.

The Serbian center was among the first names in the list of the Reds at the start of the summer, before he was picked in the no26 of the NBA draft by the San Antonio Spurs. Panathinaikos and Anadolu Efes were also interested on the player, however the fact that he has a contract until 2016 with Partizan complicated the issue.

Olympiacos returned to the negotiations table and now the player is about to sign a three year contract with the Reds, which will include multiple NBA outs. His future destination is expected to be San Antonio, but for the moment he will stay in Greece. According to the same Serbian sources, Olympiacos convinced the player that he will have the chance to evolve his game under their jersey and make the next step in his career.

The side of the player contacted the Spurs, which are also positive that signing with Olympiacos will help him. The Greek champions are among the Euroleague elite and Milutinov will have the chance to compete as the new member of a club with the highest goals.
