Olympiacos presented its roster for the upcoming season, the owners of the club Panagiotis and Giorgos Aggelopoulos were available to the press and Panagiotis gave some hints about the future of Euroleague.
As he said: “I was there at the presentation that FIBA made and it was a serious presentation. Maybe they were not ready to make this happen during this season. However, this was the reason for Euroleague to make an effort and create more revenues for the clubs. The champion getting 250.000 euros as a prize was a joke and from this season things changed. It’s important that there talks about this matter between all the interested parties”.
As Aggelopoulos said, Olympiacos is in the position to watch closely the whole situation as it unfolds: “We are part of the comittee which was created for this matter. There are ongoing contacts. For this year nothing will change but the future is an other matter”.
