Euroleague moved to Chicago’s United Center for a night with Maccabi Tel Aviv beating EA7 Milano (85-79) in the first ever “Euro Classic” in US soil.

Part of the Eurobasket Basketball World Tour 2015, the game featured two of the biggest club of Europe with Maccabi prevailing in the end. Trevor Mbakwe and Brian Randle led Maccabi with 15 points, Jordan Farmar had a full stats line (7 p., 8 r., 8 as.) and Croatian prospect Dragan Bender added 10 points. For the losing side Alessandro Gentile paced Milan with 16 points, Hummel scored 15 and Jamel McLean 10.

During the game, Milan honored former players Kenny Barlow, Mason Rocca and Kiwane Garris in a brief on court ceremony and Maccabi did the same for three of its former stars with Illinois ties, Tal Brody, Anthony Parker and Deon Thomas.
