Laboral Kutxa will now have to play without Tornike Shengelia, as the Georgian power forward will be out of action for six weeks. Shengelia suffered a knee injury and more specifically an injury to his meniscus, as the Spanish club announced.

This means that the 24-year-old player will miss the first matches in the ACB as well as most of Euroleague’s first phase, as Laboral Kutxa takes part in a very competitive group with great teams like Olympiacos and Anadolu Efes.

Consequently, additional responsibility will be given to the other power forward of the Spanish team, Kim Tillie, while the name of C.J.Wallace is also rumored to be on the radar as a temporary replacement.
