Dimitris Diamantidis is already the player who has the most minutes on the court in modern Euroleague’s history and he is also on the top of the all time lists in assists and steals. After today’s game against Lokomotiv Kuban the Green icon became also the second in the all time list of Euroleague games played.
Diamantidis has now 253 games under his belt surpassing an other Greek legend, Theodoros Papaloukas who has played 252 games in his career. On top of the all time list there’s Juan Carlos Navarro of Barcelona with 278 games played. Considering the fact that Diamantidis is going to retire at the end of the season, Navarro can feel safe.
