Panathinaikos and James Gist started the game with the pedal to the medal and they didn’t stop until the end. The Greens got the easy 85-73 win over Pinar Karsiyaka, which couldn’t do much at OAKA.

The hosts started the game with a 30-15 lead after the first quarter and Karsiyaka couldn’t get back to the game. The best the guests did was to make it a nine point game (51-42) at the third quarter. The answer was a three by Sasha Pavlovic (54-42) and order was restored.

Gist had 15 points in the first half and finished the game with 27 points on 11/13 field goals and 6 rebounds. He finished the game with a 34 PIR, registering his best ever night in Euroleague.
