Khimki was dominant in the third quarter (25-14) and earned an easy victory over Strasbourg at home (88-62). This was the third win for the Russians in group A, whereas the French team suffered their third defeat.

For the winners, Tyrese Rice and Alexey Shved both scored 16 points, while Mardy Collins had 14 points for the losing squad.

In the beginning, Khimki quickly took control of the game, executed well on both ends of the floor and ended the first period in front by eight points (23-15). In the second quarter, the Russians played better defence, as the team conceded only 11 points, and retained the lead to double digits at the end of the half (39-26).

In the third quarter, Kurtinaitis’ players were unstoppable. They outscored their opponents 25-14 and extended the lead to 24 points (64-40) to secure the victory. In the last quarter, nothing changed significantly, as Strasbourg was unable to remain competitive in the second half and, consequently, Khimki claimed an easy win.
