Zalgiris Kaunas did its best during the game, but Barcelona played better and beat the Lithuanians 78-85 on the road. This was the third win for the Spanish team, whereas Zalgiris suffered their second loss.

For the winners, Ante Tomic had 18 points and eight rebounds, with four more players being in double digits. On the other hand, Renaldas Seibutis scored 18 for the losing squad, with Paulius Jankunas adding 17.

In the first quarter, Zalgiris made a better start and managed to remain in front (23-22). Later, Barcelona played better defence and executed well offensively. Consequently, they ended the first half with a six-point advantage (39-45).

In the second half, things didn’t change much. Although the Blaugrana extended their lead to ten points (41-51) and retained it in double digits, the Lithuanians responded and cut the deficit to six (63-69), trying to make a big come-back. But, the Spaniards stood tall at the end, made a 2-9 run, brought the lead back to double figures (65-78) and left Kaunas with the victory.
