For 30 minutes, Dogus Darussafaka was in the game. However the fourth period belonged to Unicaja which got the 70-62 win thanks to its defense and experience in the highest level.

Edwin Jackson with 20 points was the leader of the winners, Mindaugas Kuzminskas had 15 points, most of them in the first half and Richard Hendtix had also a key performance with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Semih Erden had a double double (15 p., 11 r.) but he was the only player of Darussafaka who scored in double digits as the Turks couldn’t keep up with the Spaniards until the end.

It was a close game of details at the first half with both teams walking side by side on the score. In both periods the guests had a little advantage (16-15 and 16-14) and that’s how they managed to close the first 20 minutes of action with a small lead (32-29).

The situation changed only for a moment near the end of the third period, when the hosts got a 54-47 lead, but the Turks answered with a 6-0 run and missed the chance to get back in the driver’s seat as Scotty Wilbekin missed a three pointer at the buzzer (54-53).

The last quarter started with a 10-0 run for Unicaja (64-53) as Edwin Jackson and Will Thomas made consecutive big threes. Darussafaka couldn’t react this time as they scored just 4 points in nine minutes of action and in total just 9 in the whole quarter.
