Two out of three teams which started the season in Euroleague and made their Last32 premier today were defeated! Only Zielona Gora got the win on the road, while Dinamo Banco Di Sardegna Sassari and Limoges CSP lost.
David Vojvoda with 20 points and Stahinja Milosevic with 19 led Hungarian club Szolnoki Olaj to the 86-75 win over the Italian champs Sassari. EWE Oldenburg got the 87-78 road win over French champs Limoges despite losing by 12 points (50-38) at half time! Brian Qvale (photo) with 18 points and Nemanja Aleksandrov with 14 led the Germans to the win in Bo McCalebb’s debut with Limoges.
Polish champs Zielona Gora prevailed also on the road over German club Ludwigsburg (82-73) thanks to a team effort. Mateusz Ponitka with 14 points was the top scorer of the winners.
