With Marquez Haynes ready to wear Green, Mike Bramos is the next player who is ready to leave Italy for Athens and his old team. The Greeks have already contacted the player and have send their representatives in Italy in order to negotiate a buy out with Venezia.
Despite the fact that the Italian club is not eager to let Bramos go, Panathinaikos needs the player – who will not occupy the position of a foreigner due to his Greek passport in the Greek league – and they are ready to pay a hefty buy out in order to sign him, like they did in the case of Haynes and Sassari.
After all, the player likes the idea of a return to Greece, where he played for Panathinaikos from the summer of 2012 until 2014, winning back to back championship titles and Greek cups. Like Haynes, Bramos will be eligible to play in Euroleague after the 8th round of Top16.
