A 19-9 in the fourth quarter helped Anadolu Efes beat Unicaja Malaga on the road (75-85). This was the third win for the Turks (3-2), whereas the Spaniards suffered their third defeat (2-3).

For the winners, Jayson Granger had 22 points, with Jon Diebler adding 16.On the other hand, Richard Hendrix and Mindaugas Kuzminskas both scored 16 points for the losing squad.

In the beginning, the match was close (14-15), as no team could take a significant advantage, with the hosts ending the first quarter with a two-point lead (23-21). Later, the Spaniards continued to be in front (28-23, 45-40), however the visitors managed to tie the game twice (34-34, 45-45) and were down by just one (47-46), at the end of the first half.

In the second half, Malaga immediately went on a 12-4 run and extended their lead to nine points (59-50). The Turks, though, responded, played better on both ends of the floor and tied the game (64-64), behind a 5-14 run, as the third quarter ended in a draw (66-66).

In the fourth quarter, Anadolu Efes‘ players enhanced their overall performance and, despite the Spanish team’s effort to remain competitive (73-71, 76-73), outscored their opponents 19-9 to earn a double-digit advantage (75-85) and win the game.
