In a day that was not the prettiest for the leaders in the standings of the French Championship, Le Mans caught the opportunity to climb at the peak of Pro A, since both Gravelines and Monaco were defeated by Chalons and Nanterre respectively. They both remain tied, along with Le Mans, at the top of the standings, since neither managed to take the chance for a good advantage in the classification table.

Moving further from the lowest places in the standings Chalons was arguably the team that got the greatest victory from all aspects, since it practically destroyed Gravelines thanks to excellent shooting and key rebounding. DJ Cooper’s debut in Monaco was not ideal against a Nanterre that used its fantastic first quarter as a beacon that led the team of coach Donnadieu to victory. This win, along with Strasbourg’s huge performance on the road, brought a a three way tie also at the fourth position of the standings, among Nanterre, Villeurbanne and Strasbourg.
