Buducnost, Cedevita, Crvena Zvezda and Mega Leks Vizura are the four teams that will fight for the ABA League crown. The latter grabbed a big win in order to secure the ticket to the playoffs.
Through rather quick and highly effective offensive basketball, Mega Leks (16-6) draw closer to the first three place of the standings, after defeating Cedevita (16-6). The Croatians had the reins of the game in the first quarter but their defense completely crumbled down after it, a fateful event that brought the defeat for coach Mrsic’s team.
Two teams specifically smiled with this result, since they took the job against their opponents. First and foremost, Buducnost (20-2), which completely outrebounded and easily won Partizan to remain alone at the top. The other benefiting party was the one of Crvena Zvezda (16-6) . Using its frontline power, the Serbians made short work of Skopje (9-13) to finally catch up with Cedevita at the second place.
