Malcolm Delaney of Lokomotiv Kuban was voted MVP of the VTB United League for January. In what was a quite complicated voting, the fans and the journalists of “Sport-Express” decided that the American guard was the one that should get the award. Delaney got a total of 8 points more than CSKA‘s Vitaly Fridzon (6 points).
During January, Lokomotiv had three wins in three VTB games against Zenit, VEF Riga and Nymburk with Delaney averaging 16.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and a 15.3 ranking per game. Enjoy some of his feats in this video.
